Kids’ Program: Class Times: Monday & Wednesday 5:30-6:15pm and Tuesday & Thursday 5-5:45pm. The Kids’ Tang Soo Do Program is very similar to the adult program. Kids will learn all kicks, punches, blocks, forms, and self-defense techniques associated with each rank. As they advance through the belt ranking system, there will be more techniques they will have to learn for their new rank.
In addition to doing their best, being respectful to themselves and others in class, children are also asked to do these things at home and at school as well. We love to see that kids are succeeding! Feel free to bring in your child’s report card so that we can recognize their great achievements outside of the dojang.
Kids/Adults Program: On Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm, kids and parents/guardians may take a co-class together during the normal kid’s class time. This structure is set up for anyone who may be looking for something to do with their child in a fun and safe setting. For additional questions, please see Grandmaster Josh Trowbridge.
Adult Program: Class Times: Monday & Wednesday 6:30-7:30pm and Tuesday & Thursday 6-7pm. The adult Tang Soo Do program ranges from beginners to advance ranking students in a class. On Thursday evenings, there are two adult classes offered. Beginners may join us for the 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm class. Advance students have the option to come to both adult classes, or choose which class they wish to attend.
Adults will learn all kicks, punches, blocks, forms, and self-defense techniques associated with each rank. As they advance through the belt ranking system, there will be more techniques they will have to learn for their new rank. Weapons, ground, grappling, and sparring will come with intermediate and advance ranks. Adults will have the opportunity to compete in tournaments, which are an excellent way to network, and develop confidence and self esteem.
